Whatever it ain't, it ain't Latin. Not exactly anyway.

It looks like it wants to be "To discover this Land, [someone] thus
sail[ed] the northern(?) regions(?). "Norx" isn't Latin; regis is
literally "king's". Could I guess be an abbrev. for "regiones".
