Sorry, Mz Johansson,
But I think that Mr Larsen has all eight cyclinders firing.
He, apparently, has taken the time to separate fact from myth and
common misconception. The result will ultimately be a major reversal
of a lot of west european academic chauvanism. Might as well get used
to the idea.
I have tried to give you hints over the last eights years or so
(previously as jonhillr) - but to little result.
Make no mistake, I salute you in your efforts to promote the study of
your national history, but really do think that this would be better
served by greater intellectual objectivity.
One major remaining question (that intrigues me) that you could
research would be to identify the sources of the cultural changes that
have resulted in the appearance of western germanic (and Scandanavian)
language and culture - from Jordanes to current date.
