I know you have a woodworking knowledge from a few posts we exchanged
back around 1996.
The trouble here Steve is that no matter what is posted here Seppo,
Eric and Inger always know better, have a relative who was 'in the
trade' for the last thousand years...
My little plane has a body and wedge made from Maire a local hardwood
and the blade is a rather well tempered steel and all my own work.
