With his usual lack of honesty, Seppo snips Doug's comments and then
responds to them, hoping that folks won't know what he is complaining about
Doug having said.

Actually, Seppo, it's neither. It is simply a display of inductive
reasoning. Sort of like not needing a weatherman to tell which way the wind
blows.
1. You are ignorant of what Seaver has written, else you could not issue a
blanket condemnation of her book, which contains much that is indisputable
and clearly evidences problems with the authenticity of the Vinland Map.
2. As you are ignorant of what Seaver has written, and what she has written
is, in many instances, pretty easy to understand (although in some
instances, it is pretty difficult for a layman to grasp), it follows that
you simply haven't read her book.
The alternative is that you are so stupid as to easily fail to grasp some
very simple concepts; it's not hard to believe that, but Doug has just given
you the benefit of the doubt, preferring to conclude that you don't know
what you are talking about because you haven't read the material, rather
than that you are so buck stupid as to fail to understand the entirety of
what you've read.

Perhaps the above signature is why Seppo simply chooses to not read books he
criticizes. It is such a time saver for him to simply not read and remain
ignorant, rather than to read an remain ignorant.
