You can 'alter' the email by creating a synopsis. And also by
not claiming you got the information in email. If the

Two things,
1. is sci.arch there is a thing called goggles, bits of
information can be searched and generally found.
2. in sci.aux not only can things be searched, but links can be
stored, permanently (and anyone can create a link), but papers
and pictures can be uploaded.
sci.aux was specifically created so that we can get around these
ad-hoc arguments. If you so choose not to post information there
that is your choice, but when such information is repeatedly
referred to but not posted, it does not make you arguement good,
and this has a greater tendency to shut people up in thier
vicious attacks than making excuses for not providing
information, as your cohort does.
You cannot, despite your numerations above, dispute these are
here-say accounts and nothing more and will and should garner
critique in the future.
