Yes. The 9000 year old Atlantidian civilisation was in decline because of
racial mixing, and the walls keeping water from entering the city were
poorly maintained. Racial mixing resulted from the need to seek food
overseas, as the rising oceans flooded most of the islands used previously
for agriculture.
At that time Atlantis had strong links with Egypt and the Old Athens, the
rulers of which were Antantidians. Then Atlantidians formed the elite if
mediterranean countries, and there is even speculation that they formed most
of the monarchy of medieval europe.
