Trust has been lost over a 400+ year time frame, it will take
time for trust to be regained. In the meantime, there will be
skirmishes over certain things like Kennewick.

BTW, in terms of loudmouths in American society NA are the
least, IMHO of the various ethnic groups. I think we have to
give good credit to the fact their rights were abused in great
excess for little to no good reason for a long period of time
before we considered that they might have the same feelings
about their dearly departed as europeans.

  I was against the 5 tribes opinion on Kennewick, not because
that their claim was unjust, but because their claim usurped the
claim of other native americans spread over the entire americas.
Keniwick man is not the ancestor of those peoples but peoples
spread from the tip of south america all the way to greenland.
Most probably the most similar peoples to Kennewick man are the
current inhabitants of the mexico western highland regions. IOW
they put their traditions above the traditions of other groups
when the applications of those traditions were in question.
