I asked if the Gannon who posted the link was the same who had views
similar to Matt Giwer's. Instead of trying to answer the question you and
Eric started talking about political parties, scholarship, etc. although I
had written nothing about those issues and had only asked a question about
whether this Dan Gannon was the same one who had attracted such notoriety
on Usenet. I might then have had something to say about objectivity, but
you raised the issue.
I note that you've also been doing a bit of red-baiting.
