Assuming he doesn't, that means you take it upon yourself to promote his
work.

Assuming he does, he hasn't exactly sent messages on usenet to tell you to
stop, given the amounts of negativity thrown up when you clash with people,
however wrong you consider their arguments to be.

Assuming he doesn't have a laissez faire attitude towards you and all other
usenet posters, he would have posted in person to answer his critics
himself.

What lies? I'm questioning why he doesn't answer the questions raised on
usenet about his decipherment himself, and why you take it upon yourself to
act as though you were his sole representative yourself. In effect, his lack
of concern about your representing his publications amounts to his allowing
you a carte blanche to say what you like to other about his decipherment and
argue as you do with other people in the way you do.

You are trying to say that your actions and attitude on usenet towards the
serious critics of JF's decipherment shows that you are causing antagonism,
and that JF remains silent on this rather than coming in and answering the
question raised himself is puzzling.
