'ah, please accept my apologies then. i assumed you were snipping the
texts on purpose. generally it is prefered to retain the text which you
are replying to, and denoting any text that has been erased with at
<snip> or [...] (or some other marking) at it's place to let the reader
know text has been removed. as for how and how not to automatically
erase the original message, that will depend upon the newreader you are
using. most will have an option somewhere regarding sending replies
with an option to 'include original text when replying' and 'indent
original text with [>/-] when replying' (just as genralizations). sorry
i cannot help you much there as i
am as inept as the next guy. aside form that, please keep up the posts
and allow me to welcome you into our malarky.'
Thanks a million for all the helpful advice fellas, hopefully this one
will work (its the old cut and paste routine so it should do) thought
Id found out how to do it quicker earlier but seeing as its not
appeared (at least on my screen) after a few hours Ive assumed its not
worked so will stick to this method from now on. Once again apologies
for buggering up yesterday, and thanks for the welcome Tedd.
