As you know, there's those horrible reports of an almost magnatude NINE
earthquake just west of Sumatra and massive tidal waves/tsunamis causing death
and destruction all the way to East Africa.
Now there were four magnitude 9+ earthquakes in the 20th century and 2 in the
18th. Three Krackatoa-sized volcanic eruptions in the 19th century, two in the
20th and two in the 18th
How often does the archelogical record show evidence of this kind of thing on
average? There must be plenty of legeonds of massive earthquakes and tsunamis
going back to the beginning of writing....
