            I think most archaeologists (in the New World anyway) could get
    him into the right ballpark. I took a couple of courses in
    comparative vertebrate anatomy in archie grad school, and I
    though that was pretty standard. At the very least, an
    archaeologist should be able to measure, photograph and describe
    the bones, and direct the finder to a specialist.

            I'd like to see images of the bones. My curiosity is piqued
    now; and it's entirely possible that there may be real
    archaeology in there somewhere.
