I am sorrowful that your godmother has died.
IMHO, we never stop needing parents and parental
surrogates. So the Gothenburg snowfalls turn
quickly to rain... The same here in South Texas.
We just had 5 inches to 13 inches of snow, and
in 48 hours it was gone!
When you say "1500 countrymen" have died in
the Indian Ocean perimeter, do you mean Nordics,
Scandinavians, or Swedes alone ? I classify the
U.K. as Nordic on account of historical migrations.
