I've had a hard day translating 7000 words of a very detailed study of
Baltic ware in Sweden. Today's batch brought me from Västergötland through
Östergötland, calling at the towns of Skänninge, Linköping and Söderköping,
at Borg and Pryssgården. Now I have arrived safely at Sigtuna, via Birka.
It's been a long journey through all the everted rims and cylindrical necks
and my brain hurts.
Can any kind archaeological expert help me with the following technical term
in English?
reliefbandamfora
Is it as simple as "relief band amphora"?
