This is the result of an attempt to revive the tarpan,
also known as Konik Pony:

Some of them turn white in winter.
Two of the breeds used to reconstruct the tarpan were
the Icelandic Pony, and the Swedish Gotlands, also known as
Russ:

The Forest Tarpan (Equus caballus sylvaticus) was larger.
