Doug:
I've seens a reference to an French translation of
volumes 4-6 (pp. 557-964) of his Diary
("Resejournal över resan till Norra Amerika", or
"Renskrivna Dagbok från Resan till America".

Other references to his works
(including his Travels, "Resa till Norra Amerika")
mention 1, 2, 3, or 4 volumes.

Though his "Resa", seems to have been published in
as many as 4 volumes, perhaps
the reference is in the Diary.
I have access to the Diary (Resejournal)
in English and French translations,
as well as the original, and
access to the Resa (Travels)
in translation and original, so if I can get
an original page number or even a Chapter Title,
I can find the reference to
avenues of cultivated Lime trees.
But I'm not going to read through hundreds of pages of
microfilm copy to find it without a more specific reference.
