Oh Dear Mr Towe,
I am not at all worried that you had forgotten the sand. If a person doesn't
know the full value of an information, background and such, it doesn't
matter if he or she forgotten or remembers. Sadly that's the case.
What you have forgotten Mr Towe is the fact that anyone of your proposed
forger must have been able to analyse a Medieval ink from a specific
monestry - not any Medieval ink with or without iron-gall will do. It has to
be from a monestry where the ink on other contemporary or older documents
has had a process continuing after writing where the ink devides exactly the
same as on VM. Such documents exists. So does such documents with anatase
same size on them. That anatase can have come into and reacted with the ink
from two different components - one is the kaolin which together with ALL
the other observed components exists in the recipe DO exists in some of the
Medieval inks, the other natural way is via the sand which when scattered on
parchment newly written or drawn on with ink of course has more than one
chance to be added to the ink on which it's scattered.
The minimum one should expect of any given scholar putting forward hypotesis
trying to falsify a document is that said scholar had background knowledge
enough to ask correct question to the observed for the needed premisses to
be true. In this case no premisses needed have been taken into consideration
by anyone of you who present what if scenarios against VM.
There are several of those premisses you will need real good background
knowledge from the 1400's Scandinavian History. Knowledge which can't be
found in any of the English translated/written works up to this point.
