We could meander through the often historically contradictory myths of
Ragnar, but how about we focus on the historical accuracy of Egil
Skalagrimmson's saga. There is about as much proof for the existence of one
as there is the other. However I find Egil's saga rather pertinent,
particulary the bullock lifting. It has a metaphorical relationship to
much written in this forum on matters European.
