Didn't you get my e-mail sent via Google? I told you that the answer to
that
problem is found on the Wikipedia website to which you provided a link
(mathematics of sudoku, as I recall). The number of solutions is very
high,
and has been tackled by means of logic and brute computer power; the
magnitude of the number has been confirmed, while the exact figure has
not yet been confirmed. I also told you that your question inspired me
to look out for a potential Magdalenian puzzle and game. I found one,
and published it in my thread "Lascaux, a lunisolar calendar. " Look it
up
there, and if you like we may play a game via e-mail.
