For the record: Marie Jean Faucounau grapheus is wildly fantasizing,
projecting, and lying, which I consider part of his mental disorder.

Whoever-at-no.spammers.of.the.world.unite.com: I am grateful to
every kook and every narrow-minded edu who filters me. These two
prevailing categories of posters have much in common: they are just
in the know, they ignore scientific literature, & they avoid serious
discussions by dropping a prioris.

I changed my opinion regarding Philip Deitiker (although he considers
me a kook). Philip wrote some very fine messages lately, right from
the heart. Bravo.

Dylan Sung: the law wan't help; the Usenet, which is a great but also
much abused facility, must evolve from the inside. The most important
for every group, I believe, is a positive agenda. Mine is a fair
history of civilization including mathematics. I have been attacked
by many people, from a lowing loon to high ranking professors including
a mathematical genius. When people offend me repeatedly I give back,
not for the sake of waging war, but in order to follow my agenda
and do my work, since I believe that a fair history of civilization
is a prerequisite for solving the global problems that await us in
the near future.

Well, I consider this thread my department in LU and give some lessons
here. The first one goes to Ole Hagen.

Ole Hagen, you complained that a certain person hinders people from
considering your work, or the one by your father. I gave you my advice
a year ago and told you that nobody understands your messages and your
website. So I asked you to explain your calendar and tell us where we
are. Today we have June 6. Where would this day occur on the Phaistos
Disk according to your interpretation? You promised to explain your
work in the way I asked for, but you never did. Do it now. Or consider
what I tell you here, in my first lesson as holder of a Linchpin
University chair.

Derk Ohlenroth translated the Phaistos Disk, as I explained several
times. He does not exclude a superposed calendar, as I also explained
several times. I think that the central rosette on the Tiryns side of
the Phaistos Disk, a flower of 8 petals, could represent a simple and
early calendar: each petal a period of 45 days, the small circle in
the center 5 and occasionally 6 additional days. 42 continual periods
of 45 days yield 1890 days and correspond to 63 lunations.

Now the 31 fields on the Tiryns side and the 30 fields on the Elaia
side can be combined into an even better lunisolar calendar: 7 x 30
plus 5 x 31 days yield a regular year of 365 days, while 6 periods
of 30 days plus 6 periods of 31 days yield a leap year of 366 days.
30 plus 31 days are 61 days. 198 periods of 61 days equal 409
lunations (mistake per lunation three seconds), while 964 periods
of 61 days equal 161 years (mistake per year less than four seconds).
Look up my message from March 29, 2005, in the thread "A Sumer-China
connection," subthread "hypothetical Yangshao calendar (early China)"
where I explain that calendar and demonstrate how the numbers can be
derived by means of simple number sequences.

Now my new task for you: reconsider your work in the light of this
calendar, and try to reformulate your interpretation accordingly.
