That was because in the original article I was quoting Kare Prytz who
is the person who cut the reference to Quinn.

Unfortunately the english translation of Prytz's 'Westward before
Columbus' has a most inadequate index and only identifies 'The Roanoke
Voyages' as the source and gives no page reference. It's some years
since I looked but I was not then able to find a copy of the book for
myself.
