Without consulting a dictionary, 'unique' means that there is only one
of the subject of discussion: there is no other. Uniqueness is a
state. Its like pregnancy. One is either pregnant or one is not. A
thing is either unique or it is not.
There is no scale of uniqueness. A thing cannot be more unique, i.e.
'uniquer', than something else which is also unique.
