It isn't any kind of "news" that early churches were built in the form
of a cross - the Christian symbol. Christian crosses do have a certain
configuration that is adhered to. The two horizontal "legs" are the
same length as the vertical leg above the horizontal bar, and the part
below is double the length of that above the bar. This is the
conventional Latin Cross.

But then if "circles" are included we end up with a Celtic cross as
per:

That is now used by Nationalistic, far right wing groups (specially in
France by the GUD) and by White Power groups. It was originally part
of a more conventional Latin cross with a circle. The Celtic Cross is
found on UK £1 coin 1996 - of the N. Irish version. However the Celtic
Cross predates christianity. It is said to represent the Sun and is
also likened to ancient Harappan civilization (as is the swastika).

See the Callanish Standing Stones here (near the bottom):

To suggest a "sacred geometry" specific to any Templars is probably
stretching it too far. Circles can be made to fit most any cross - nor
does the "geometry" of the churches you point to above bear any
resemblance to the Templar's Cross. Orientation ideas go back way
before any christianity and has pagan origins.

Work hard enough at anything and you will eventually establish a
"connection" - be it via alignment, geometry or "secret code".
