More than docements. Didn't you see the kleo's advertisement.
The 'patras going to show you the 7 wonders (or blunders) of
the world, inside and out. Archaeology like you have never
seen before, well maybe you have, but that little robot sprung
a sprocket. Keep you eye on the flesh however, it tends to
get sucked in by the excitement of all the great discoveries.
[This is one of those things you'll have to read other threads
to understand, come to think of it, it will also help to know
German]
The mdm doesn't know were primary literature is and she
doesn't know what peer-reviewed means either. She thinks a
referee is the funny dressed guy at a socker match. As this
distinction between primary sources and primary literature has
been made to her, she still confuses the two.
It might helpe if we finally defined this for her because she
thinks we are misspelling the word 'per'.
Peer - one that is of equal standing of another, _one
belonging to the same societal group_
Referee - a person to whom things are refered. b: a person who
reveiws an esp. technical paper before publication.
A referee for a peer-reviewed science journal is a person of
equal standing of the author of manuscript, to whom the
manuscript is refered for a review of its scientific qualities
prior to publication in a scientific journal. Peer-reviewed
generally means it has past the inspections by two referees,
and based on their comments the editor of the journal deems
the paper worthy of publication in that same journal. It can
also mean that the referees have asked for changes, and
publication may depend on the revision of the manuscript in
response of the referees critiques. The primary LITERATURE is
generally were original peer-reviewed material is published,

A Review itself may be peer-reviewed as wells as books and
may contain original material, however in the hard sciences
reviews generally are synopsis of previously published
literature. Examples Critical Reviews in _______________.
Annals of _________. Transaction of the Royal Society of
_________. Annual Review of _____________.
