If you do, you might try some research. Go to the "Re: What evidence is there that the Temple of Solomon existed?" thread on talk.origins. Look for two posts by David Iain Greig.

*THEN* try to find any response at all from your dear sweet Nazi buddy (and I use the term 'Nazi' advisedly) to either of Greig's posts, or to my observation that he had run away from the evidence that he was lying. Or, just possibly (since pigs may, one day soon, grow wings and fly), he might have forgotten.

If that is the quality of you 'independent AND learned person,' you and he are made for each other.
