A new press release corrects the figures for the speed of the impact
objects, they are said to have hit the earth at a speed of 1000 kilometers
per hour, 0.27778 km/s.

As to their origin, they are said to resemble rocks from the moon or lunar
meteorites that fell to Earth about 10,000 years ago.

Wonder what figures are going to be presented next time.

have fun
