Real archaeology--need help.

I need some help from a guy or gal with experience evaluating non-human vertebrate skeletal material from a potential archaeological site. Specifically, I would like information on how to measure and report bone data, as well as some thoughts as to how to ID the bones I have.
The bones I currently have are from the eastern Great Plains, in the northern US. They appear to be from one or more large herbivores, possibly cervid, bovid or equid.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I'd appreciate any comments on George Frison's _Survival by Hunting: Prehistoric Human Predators and Animal Prey_, 2004, University of California Press.
