And btw Staraja Ladoga isn't in Scandinavia. It's in Russia.
Not "btw"! It was my sole reason to quote that,
and to ask if that is characteristic of his accuracy.
Apart from which the smith's tools, a full set, were dated to 10th or
11th century if I remember it correctly.
