Eric:
Maybe so, but that's still an Argument from Authority.
I remain unconvinced, as I consider myself to be
reasonably skeptical.
Reports of Personal Communications are okay, but they are
indicators, not proof. They are essentially hearsay evidence.
I am also not convinced that Wolter is a qualified as an authority
on Ojakangas's evidence, so I would not uncritically accept
a judgement by him that Ojakangas' results are valid and definitive.

Scientific results must be replicable to be accepted.
Ojakangas's results, given that the methodology was not given,
are not replicable.
Therefore Ojakangas's results are not yet acceptable.

If we accept his results as received wisdom, then we are
in the same boat with people who accepted the first results
showing that Cold Fusion is a reality.
The results indicating that Cold Fusion is a reality
could not be replicated, therefore the notion that Cold Fusion
is a reality was not accepted.

In the case of the presentation of Ojakangas's results,
what we have is second-hand, and it is only part of the results.

We need to see for ourselves.
Until Ojagangas's results are presented as a logical sequence,
a presentation of the end member of that sequence is
insufficient as proof.
