Re: Anatase

Jesus. H. Christ. On a crutch.

And now we see the sort of viscious lies and complete lack of
conscience this woman spreads. Imagine the impact she has in venues
where people don't know, for instance, Doug, and take her
characterizations as valid.

<deep breath> On balance, it is likely that she believes the incredible
(literally) stuff she writes about others. She more than likely truely
thinks she wins all the debates, provides all the references, and fails
to be wrong in any but the occasional small particular. I suppose she
ought to be pitied. And I do pity her.

But she is one annoying bitch, no matter how you slice it.

Seppo,
it's no use that you defend me because Doug will not give in and stop his
personal attacks such as which he continues over and over. In the long run
it's better to ignore him because he doesn't want anyone else to be better
than him and his pet-scholars. So be it. He may live in his own world where
he been so long. You don't have to defend me. He doesn't seem to understand
that in the long run as well as up to now he lost debate after debate after
debate when not being able to present conta-arguments and then taken to
personal abuse.

I'm actually curious what Inger meant when she said the key
was how many atoms of anatase were on the VM. I can't
imagine a way that that information could be important (the
count of atoms) since what we have is a report of actual
anatase crystals, composed of hundreds or even thousands of
atoms of TiO2.

So what we see here again is the puppy farmer, Doug Weller, set
another thread of "Inger bashing" into motion - it then results
in the above nonsense, where one has to question the
intellect/knowledge of the person writing it. There can be NO
"atoms of TiO2" - only MOLECULES, as "TiO2" already tells you
there is ONE "Ti" (Titanium) atom and TWO "O" (oxygen) atoms.

Thanks Douggie, you make everybody look like bleeding FOOLS
with your vindictive crap.

Oh Seppo, instead of questioning my technical knowledge why not
make an actual contribution to the discussion? You are of
course correct, TiO2 is a molecule, not an atom, but so what?
I'm not writing a technical treatise here, and imprecision in
language is abundant on the internet. Are you satisfied by
correcting everyone's imprecision? You can question my
technical knowledge all you want. I'm not threatened.

What should you be worried about, he attacked Doug for what you
wrote. Seems like Seppo is going to give you a free pass for whatever
you write, and instead attack Doug.

Sigh, much as I disagree with IEJ, the ridicule being posted here on
many sides, including hers, is unethical and wrong; it offends me. By
all means feel free to question factual errors, unanswered questions,
obfuscated logic from anyone, but drop the personal stuff. It just
demeans the attacker.

My research forces me to function in one or more of my secondary
languages on an almost daily basis, and constantly makes me aware of my
own linguistic shortcomings. I'm grateful to those I work with for
putting up with my errors. English is my native language. I'm
impressed that anyone not born to the language tries to communicate in
english, given how intolerant many english speakers are of errors.

Actually I agree with this.

...but ignores it all the time just the same.

And I've said the same thing this week to
Inger. The comment Seppo seems so upset about is, as I also pointed
out,
my saying that she was now an expert on chemistry and physics (with a
smiley) when she came up with this atoms thing, which was shortly after
she had told someone else he was operating outside his area of
expertise.

...or to cut the crap, it was an attack on Inger PERSONALLY or the
INSTIGATION of another Inger bashing thread by Douggy. Douggy knows
full well that he is resorting to dog-whistling, and the howling pack
comes running immediately - just look and ye shall see.
