That was abusive.
It was not my intention to be abusive.
Shame, on you, for spoiling the general mood
with ugliness.

It's funny that words can be so differently interpreted and look so alike,
sometimes being spelt exactly the same.
Bolls.
But of course you have yours, we have ours. In our case it sometimes happens
that a word's content been changed over the centuries so when a modern
scholar who aren't used to reading old texts reads some of them within a
text he or she hardly notice that the value of the word not only might be
contradictive for what the word means today....
It is called semantic change.
I don't have any beef with you, Inger, but you should realised that
*** and bull is a staple in the newsgroups. Like you say, you have to
hold your bolls in the air. It's the only way to get an airing. It
seems I've set the cat amongst the pigeons by bringing up this thread.
However, when others do the donkey work and get nothing in return, with
you hogging information, we must grab the bull by the horns and forge
ahead and ask the difficult questions. Sometimes it's be like flogging
a dead horse. We can't really let sleeping dogs lie, and there are some
who can be said to be as stubborn as a mule, but know this, a bird in
the hand is worth two in the bush.
However, a few people think you are having a lark. I know you're a busy
bee, and always have one in your bonnet, but occasionally, someone puts
a fly in the ointment. Some folks began smelling a rat when you let the
cat out the bag, so they badger you for answers..
It all goats to show.
