Joe and Doug,
if anyone is bizarr it's you two yourself.
A sailor on a ship that's accelerating due to entering strong streams, does
of course accelerate him or herself.
Where were Doug during that type of experiment during his High School years?

You don't get the point, do you? I'm not discussing that. It might be fun
too, but I'm not going that way.

And while Virginia today only is north of North Carolina the maps from the
early days which I have has Virginia on all way down to Florida. In other
word both north and south of North Carolina.

Bull. As Peter pointed out, you wrote:
"" There are a lot of artifacts which been found from Maine

dismissed as colonial time, contact time artifacts etc.
One of all the dated mounds from North Carolina southward
is the Rapidan Mound "

If you want to talk about an old map that doesn't show North Carolina,
then don't mention an American state. But there is no way that Rapidan
Mound is south of North Carolina. It's in the Central Virginia Piedmont,
definitely north of North Carolina (where I own a log cabin). What does
the use of the name Virginia to describe land south of North Carolina have
to do with this? You were wrong but you aren't honest enough to admit it.

If some of you forgotten, I am not discussing present day map.

So? Rapidan still isn't south of North Carolina.

re "North Carolina southward"

Er, um, Mde. La Geographiste, the Rapidan Mounds are in
Virginia,
which
is
*north* of North Carolina.

Inger is once again using the 'shotgun'
approach of introducing a number of
topics to generate arguments sans
evidence.

It's always all about Inger.

I know where Virginia is as where North Carolina is. Happen to have
relatives living in the later and old friends in the former. Now you
did
misunderstand me Lloyd. How come?

If you know where they are, why did you write what you did?

tk

Because it's a much broader picture to take into consideration. I said
so
before Midsummer celebrations and I still do. I told you and the rest
where
to look for at least one specific part of Vinland and where.

tk, if you as a sailor were sailing from the northern parts of the area
I
mentioned southward, following the coast within the streams of Labrador
current, and you 'met' the Gulfstream, you would have had accelating
speed,
wouldn't you. If the calculation program that's on net are correct I
can't
find that such a sailor in a ship if he wasn't as skilled as you and
Eric
S
might easily have ended up in Ireland. Have you thought or counted on
that
possibility?

Is it just me, or is this getting more and more bizarre? She's written
that Virginia is south of North Carolina because of the broader picture,
and now a sailor is accelerating?

Doug

Her explination seems to have partaken of too much grog while passing
through Ireland.
