Try, again, throwing your corrections at wikipedia. You see
what TinyUrl does to your mind, you've even forgot how to
parse a Url.
Using a name with a wrong spelling can happen, insisting it
is the right spelling without checking is a bit foolish.
Have you never heard people mention, that they are not glad
with wikipedia being treated as a scientific source, because
of the many faults?
When its the only source or the most informative source in
english I didn't want to push the issue because it appeared
that Peter was trying to pick a fight, I had hoped you would
have done more research before sticking Peter's foot in your
mouth.
Peter tried to be helpful.
Your search - régime sauveterien - did not match any documents.
Your search - nourriture sauveterien - did not match any
documents.
272 for Sauveterrian food
51 for Sauveterrian diet
512 for Nourriture Tardenoisien, 24 non-redundant
424 for régime tardenoisien, 6.2 pages non-redunant
550 for Tardenoisian food
2,850 for Tardenoisian diet
And
about 1,360 for Maglemosian food.
about 446 for Maglemosian diet.
about 563 for Maglemose food.
about 167 for Maglemose diet
Why did you bring in Maglemose and Kongemose
if you obviousely are not interested?
Only to impress?
And you waved the images, but "Tardenoisien"
gives you direct access to maps not available
with "Tardenoisian".
If you are only interested in the food aspect, fine,
but even then it seems pretty essential to me to
know where those food gatherers actualy lived.
Although you cannot be blamed
Gee, thanks Phil, what a relief!
for the fact that not much
information is available,
???
still, its not like I disquised the threads topic.
What makes you far worse than 'Our Lady',
is that you are a mean manipulator.
I have time, I try not to waste it arguing
with you about inconsequentials. If you have
a scientific reference but to get into the pedantics
of spelling. If it was me I would have brought
in articles I though you had missed regarding
misspelling. I have seen your style of arguing with
Inger, Peter, I don't want to waste just a whole
lot of time based in these meta-issues.
As far as the NE cultures are concerned I brought
them in because they were linked in the process
of the Wiki and so if anyone wanted to investigate
these they could, but except for these 'mean' meta
issues I am trying to stick with the threads title
on Western Mesolithic Food culture.
I am not like Inger, I bring refereed science to this
group to discuss filling in some gaps. If you have
other facts on these topics we can discuss them, but
I don't want any more of this tit-for-tat, I changed
the topics for discussion with Uwe simply because we got
into my-opinion your-opinion tit-for-tat, and here we
go to my google is better than your google tit-for-tat.
I researched these links looking for specific things
"Food Culture: Mesolithic Western Europe" so that the
arguments can be focused.
If you want to call me 'mean' that's fine, but I have
been on this UseNet a long time, and I think its a
waste to pick arguments with people over meta-issues.
The topic is Western Mesolithic Food Culture.
