Pine, Oak and Elm entered the scene around the same
time. Acorns are loved by pigs and Oak came in from the
far South-West; Elm is a good fodder for cows, but it came
in from the South-East, and Pine is useless and came in
between, from the South. In my opinion not realy indications
for human intervention. But perhaps more important is that
all six tree species reached Britain when it was still part of
the Continent.

Far south-west of Britain, isn't that South America? And wouldn't
south and south-east of Britain both refer to the same small part
of France, i.e. Normandie (extending that to include Belgium and
Bretagne wouldn't make much difference)? Presumably every species
came to Britain from the continent, and compass directions are
rather meaningless unless a source much farther away can be given.

Do you understand evolution at all?

It would be very easy to turn this to you, but
is it possible for you to stop this nonsens?

It takes two to quarrel, but also two to stop. Both of you have
been behaving disappointingly and unexpectedly childish, falling
to the level of Eric Stevens (who called PD an "obnoxious prick"
which PA just passed on without a negative reaction).

Calling PD an "obnoxious prick" is nothing compared with all the
things he has written about me without either justification or direct
provocation.
