There is a lot of ambiguity to what 'prd' is. A brat for sure,
but somewhat slow it appears too.

Here we are... and he *finally* went and looked it up somewhere;
and now wants to claim he actually knew something in the first
place (i.e., when he claimed he did).

You are confused floyd, or you did not follow the conversation.
Lord god Peter declared he was an expert in ecology, and while
I am well aware of reindeer and caribou based on a program
by a native of the pac NW, I decided to see of LG Peter would
do us the favor and blessing by explaining himself, for
about the fifth time in a row when he was asked to explain
himself and provide references he declined.

Giggle snort laugh. It's pretty clear that you don't know squat
about caribou.

The Joke 'Reindeer don't fly' is actually a native
joke. It means there is hardly any difference between
caribou and reindeer except those possed by humans
and thier beliefs.

What is "a native joke"?

Given a total lack of perspective on what he states, it appears
'prd' had not previously heard of the information he posts, and
still hasn't got a clue as to what it means.

Its amazing what you manage to interpret based on silence.

Not really amazing. And it wasn't the silence, it was what you
said that gave you away.

But what do /you/ know about it?

I know that alot of the nomenclature has problem and
systematist pull hairs over traditions versus accuracy
and this is but one more example.

So you don't know *anything* about it. Fair enough. Why claim
otherwise?

Rangifer
Rangifer tarandus (reindeer)
Rangifer tarandus caribou

Rangifer tarandus fennicus
Rangifer tarandus granti
Rangifer tarandus groenlandicus
Rangifer tarandus pearyi
Rangifer tarandus platyrhyncus
Rangifer tarandus tarandus

I consider reindeer to be closer to elk than deer.

*You* consider? You don't know diddly squat *** about them, so
what difference does it make what you think it all means.

Typical floyd in all his glory.

Hiting the nails on the head, ain't I. Who cares what *you*
think about relationships between deer, elk and caribou? You
don't know anything about it, and it has nothing to do with
anything discussed so far. You're just rattling off what you
read when you looked it up, hoping it impresses someone.

Lets now see you do some research on caribou, and use that to
connect with this thread in relation to development of human
technologies/cultures following the last Ice Age.

Floyd you are over the top once again, back into the bit
bucket.

So you don't dare address the topic of discussion, even though I
provided you with the minimum essential research necessary to
discuss the topic with at least a minimal knowledge eh?

Looks like you figured out that trying to be a boastful brat
about caribou and human development was a bad choice that you
won't be making again?

Coward.
