You are a loud-mouthed ignorant bully, deserving only of contempt.
Am I sorry you feel that way, not really, after all Eric Stevens
who are you?
I
suggest you do some exploration with Google before you try to compare
your presentations of archaeology with those of Doug Weller's. You are
not even in the same ball park.
Oh, my talk about the black cat calling the wild kettle black.
Let's do a google, Eric, my boy on you.
I've looked at Doug Wellers stuff, he could be Superman, but what
he has done with this group, I wouldn't put on my re'sume. My complaint
is not about what he is but what he posts here. Got it.
You're a liar and not a very clever one at that. You were **not**
complaining about what Doug posts here. You had already trumpeted:
"I wasn't talking about archaeology of garbage, Dougy, even with
my usually 'wonderful' english the context was quite clear, Dougy,
I was talking about 'bad and sloppy' science."
I responded to that by quoting your article concerned in it's
entirety. You have employed the tactics of the Internet bull***
artist by snipping all of what I wrote so that you can now pretend you
were arguing about something else. That's twice now in succession you
have so twisted.
Here is the vital bit of what you deleted:

No you weren't, at least not unless you had been sampling the lab
chemicals again. Here is what Doug wrote followed by your very
non-science-related reply:

And we care about rock piles because?
GM should write a book. "How to interpret piles of rocks"
'This rock pile overhere is a chinese pile, this is a celtic pile,
this is a norse pile. We know this because we compared piles of
scat'.

Eric
Doug had quoted a news item which described how an actual experiment
had helped knock down one of the explanations favoured by
archaeologists for the presence of dead animals inside cairns. You
completely ignored the scientic experiment at the heart of the
endeavour but immediately launched into a stream of sarcastic
denigration.

End of first level of quote
The only reason you take sides is that you want to defend your
little far-off cairnology in Tim-buk-tu Canada as litehuses and
communication towers for your Viking Airways 747s. Give out that
'mea, mea, mama mia' crap, your vested interest is transparant.
So go bark up another tree, the more you bark the more I see
the moon in your eye.
I am going to keep on this issue until you guys figure out
that crap is crap, don't matter what profession you try to disguise
it under, it is eventually found out for what it is. You want
to continue your 'whatever' go ahead. I'm game.
No doubt you will hurl more abuse but in the end all you will do is
join Hines, Seppo, Min etc in an ever increasing number of kill files.
Think about one thing Eric, when someone comes in here
and makes a statement and provides a link to some:
kook site
race hate site
supremicist site
Dougy all over them like flies on honey.
Still pedaling backwards aren't you Philip? You don't address the
point simply because, even if you did know how, you have so muddied
the waters of debate you no longer have the faintest idea of what you
were trying to say.
But if he makes a link to garbage science, woah nelly, take
in the horse, a storm is coming.
Just because its Doug it does not mean he is immune
to the same standard he applies to everyone else.
The real problem is the standard YOU apply to everybody else -
_not_Philip_.
[you been out of the bit bucket long enough]
You have put me there so often I have my own passport.
Really, this is only your way of chickening out from under an argument
you have belatedly realised you don't know how else to win.
Eric Stevens
