The most important quality of putting forth science
in a science group is putting forth relevant facts.
The most relevant fact to the discussion is the first
fact, what evidence can be drawn from observing pyramid
blocks suggests they were poured and not carved as all other
experts believe.
Er - I'm not sure whether the above is an assertion that the pyramids are
made of concrete or a badly phrased expression of scepticism.

In either case, there is no evidence that the pyramid blocks were poured.

1. There is no advantage to pouring a block and then dragging it to the top
of the pyramid over cutting a block and dragging it.

2. If the blocks were poured in place they would be joined together at top
and bottom, just like happens when you pour concrete onto other concrete.
The pyramid blocks that are visible are not so joined.

3. If the blocks were poured in place they would have to be horizontal. In
actual fact many of the pyramids are made of sloping courses and even in the
Great Pyramid, some of the stones are not horizontal.

4. If the Egyptians knew how to make concrete they would have quickly
started making concrete structures - tubes, arches, doorways, large flat
pavements - or at the very least used the stuff to join small blocks of
stone in the fill they inserted in tomb shafts and passages. In actual fact
the only stuff they used was lime plaster, demonstrating that they
simultaneously needed a concrete-like substance but had no idea of how to
make it.

Some sense at last!!!

Is anyone listening?
Concrete is not like rock - it is easy to spot.
It has bubbles in it (unless the Egyptians had vibration technology
-maybe they shook the bibbles out with their flying saucers???)
I made similar points earlier in the thread but not one seemed to
respond.

1. The material claimed is not concrete.

2. It is claimed that it does have bubbles and foreign bodies (i.e.
hair) embedded in it.

If we are going to pretend this is a science group we should not
distort the claimed evidence.

Over the years I have a mess of claims which appears only in sensationalist books and press releases. The pyramids of Egypt perhaps lead the list in sensational claims which are simply not true.

As an example, years ago I read a post reciting the old nonsense that the stones are so closely fitted even a razor blade could not fit between them. This was followed by talking about how "impossible" it would be today to make something that big that flat even today. The interesting point of the post was that it included a link to an image on the web clearly showing the stones fit together rather crudely and the razor blade story was clearly nonsense.

Which brings me to the two claims you recite. In which professional publication have these claims been published? Or perhaps do you have a list of those which refused to publish it because the arkies are trying to hide the truth?
