So much for the speculations.

Barsoum's assertion seems to hinge on one single piece of evidence:
that the mineral ratios found in some "stones" cannot be matched to
existing rock formations. BIG DEAL!

No. You did not read carefully the paper. It's much more than the
mineral ratio. The binder can't be natural. See arguments in

The morphology of concrete is very distinctive
I have not manged to find one single piece of morphological evidence.

One again: It is not concrete like we know it (based on cement). Thus it
does not behave like concrete.

Concrete is moulded, it traps foreign bodies such as insects and twigs and
broken bits of cloth, leather, wood. When it forms it takes on the shape
of the shuttering and often leaves an impression of the grain of the
wooden shutering. It leaves air pockets which form bubbles in its
structure. Despite this not one shred of morphological evidence has been
offered!!!

Davidovits showed in his reproduction that there is no prints of the
wooden moulds. But he apparently observed forreign bodies and bubble.
though, I can't judge I've never seen the pictures.

Personally I feel Barsoum is trying to "big-up" the Egyptians.

What would be his agenda?
