Exactly. Remarkably, these evident planes of weakness just happen to have
divided the Great Pyramid up into blocks of stone with nice 90 degree angles
and approximately equal sizes.

I don't think anyone is suggesting the Great Pyramid was cast in one
homogenous mass which later just happened to crack up into neatly
squared blocks. I've always understood the hypothesis to be that the
blocks were cast against their neighbours thereby ensuring a good fit.
