Alan,
I am not the one who started insulting! YOU wrote:
"....Inger talks of "what we call stone-bricks". I don't believe they
use
those English words in Swedish
for whatever is meant. I believe this is Inger's translation of some
Swedish
term. " That's an insult if any.

Inger dear, I wasn't insulting you. Let me repeat (for the third time).
You wrote that Swedes use an English word, "stone-bricks". But Swedes
surely didn't use the *English* expression "stone-bricks". I meant that
that must be your translation of the *Swedish* term that they did use.
All I wanted to know was, what is that Swedish term?

That we in Sweden used to call them
sten-brickor and I only translated the word sten to stone and used
bricks
which is the English Plural doesn't mean that it's my invention!!!!

I didn't say that you invented it. I just asked you what the Swedish
term was. Thank you for now telling me. I still don't know how to
translate it, but that's my problem, not yours. It's not in the Swedish
Academy Dictionary, it's not in the Svensk-engelsk byggordbok from
Tekniska Nomenkalturcentralen. It's not in Svensk-engelsk Teknisk
Ordbok. It happens somotimes that words escape the notice of
lexicographers.

Bricks
in Swedish as well as other have it's species infront that the word
Brick is
used for stone bricks is by no mean anything but common knowledge.
Example "We offer a full line of brick, Cultured Stone, Robinson Rock
and
natural stone."

"Installing Your Own Stone Brick Patio"
http://www.omninerd.com/2006/11/17/news/1016

and then you of course can here: "Stone brick"
http://www.wurmonline.com/wiki/index.php/Stone_Brick

so don't try that assult by trying to assume translation of mine
again!

I just asked you for the original Swedish for the word you translated.
Instead of giving that translation you insulted Doug and others. I have
been polite, as you will see if you read my contributions to the thread.

Alan
