You would think. But when a sweet young hottie shows up, most men
dont.
The only eugenics program in all history that actually worked was that
established by Lycurgus. He told the Spartans, after consulting with
the Oracle of Delphi, that if what they wanted was the biggest,
strongest, fastest, and smartest warriors to defend the city, they
needed the biggest, fastest, strongest, and smartest... women to bear
them. Within 5 generations, Spartan soldiers were kicking ass all over
Greece.

Where they fucked up, was by not adding more of the kind of women
needed; since the women were in charge of the houses and their own
sexulity, they didnt bear a lotta kids, and every time a woman bore
nothing but sons, she was out of the gene pool. At the end, there were
so few Spartan women left they could only muster 3000 Spartans into
the battle field.

With patriarchy, the kind of man who can stay faithful to a single
wife is rarely selected for leadership. Since power is an aphrodasiac,
and women see where the power is, most great leaders litter the
landscape with sons... who are "Just like his father" and think that
they should be king too. The result is a culture that has too many
chiefs and not enough indians. The Mid East, which has had more kings
for more millennia than anyone else, has a considerable problem with
that machismo attitude.

Morever, the men have preferred airheads who were easy to dominate and
obedient. In more recent generations, smart women have been sent to
the west to be educated... and never returned to their mysogenistic
homelands. I think I read that all of Ben Ladin's sisters lived in the
West.

Its perhaps instructive to consider that the leaders of Syria and
Jordan chose western women as wives. I dont think its a new idea. We
see the ancient images from India, where the aristocrat is rendered
with dark skin, while the object of his affections is white. This
predates the influence of the colonial powers by a couple thousand
years. So- the smart leaders may do as you say, but the general run of
men, not as wise, get progressively more stupid.
