you do not show the same degree of scholarly exposure, I do not

Moving on, the specific claim I implied is evidence and not proof that
the First Temple was Solomon's. Maybe it wasn't Solomon's. Maybe
the OT writer Dr. Thiering cited was mistaken about the numbers.

Whatever, I claim the Essenes who built Qumran soon after their
priests
were exiled to the desert 140-133 BC IN THEIR PRIESTS' MINDS were
doing a substitute santtuary that was not actually "holy ground" since
God had said that Jerusalem Temple was the only true worship (these
literalist/legalistic Essene priests KNEW that God HAD SAID THAT...

Moreover, I believe that archaeologists, even though working with
physical
evidence, should have a background in the textural contents of the DSS
etc.
and not pretend that they can do without it with just the perspective
that
physical evidence alone at first gives all that they need to make full
discernment.
