Free scientific prototype service.

The idea is simple. A major science television broadcaster is
interested in setting up a fast prototyping team dedicated to building
innovative, cost effective solutions to real scientific data gathering
problems.
Right now we are trying to solicit interesting ideas for projects.
These will be used in an extended proposal which, if accepted, will
allow us to provide an essentially free design and construction
service for the life of the series. So if you have any intractable
data gathering problem in need of solution we would like to hear from
you.
Depending on the scope of the project we will consider building
technology from scratch. Our team will be skilled in electronics,
computer science, mechanical engineering, wood, plastic and metal
fabrication, and they will have all the necessary tools to get the job
done.
I'd really be interested in hearing your thoughts and please feel free
to pass this message on to your research colleagues. If successful our
service will be open to anyone with a legitimate scientific problem
that needs a technical/ mechanical solution.
If you're tired of walking those geophysics transects and would like
to find a way to automate the process please contact me at
scitechresearch@xxxxxxxxx with your wish list.
No... this isn't a hoax... or a scam... or a chain e-mail.
