Here is a rock carving from Norway.

Barry Fell in his book America BC claims that it is OGAM.

My simple question --- is it Ogam?


No it's symbolic and the message is clear.

"Now when it's autumn and our ship is loaded we have to
set off before the waters freese. It will take us 11 to get home
