saw this interesting little piece of tid-bit on another group that i felt
aptly explains how the majority of the non-archie types here conduct their
'research' and then whine when we dont take them seriously. those of
immediate personal note would be inger, carl, and eric, although others here
are also guilty of it.

Usenet is no substitute for real life, and apparently
it's not even a substitute for the web.

Actually psudoscientific scam artists of all "kinds" have almost taken
over the web in that they make sure that most searches will find their
misrepresentations instead of peer-reviewed material.
