I was hoping someone in the group might know of the earliest reliably
dated archaeological evidence for true long ships in northern Europe
(artifacts, cave/rock art, etc.).

There are the long ships on Rock Carvings in Vitlycke and Fossum, Tanum's
parish, Bohuslän, Sweden.

Earlier this year one scholar working on her dissertation talked about her
work and showed that it's possible/likely that there was a contact between
the people who lived in the area today known as Tanum's parish and the
Phonecians. Could of course be true. Who knows?
