would seem that it is the Swedish University system that has
failed its archaeology students in this respect. I am reading the
Danish work at the moment, but not having come far enough, I
cannot yet report if the Danish education has been better.
For the first time you Erik H and I agree upon one thing.
Göran Burenhult is by far NOT a historian and had it only been that he had
had his own way of interpretating ancient and Medieval texts, that would
have been far enough,
unfortunatly there is one worse thing which occurs numerous times especially
in his edited works before 2002, he refers to here and there to texts which
he doesn't seem to have read either in origin nor in full transcription or
in translations since there are works where more than 20% of the ref when it
comes to old texts has wrong 'pages' on them.
