I have a few opinions about that.
According to Wikipedia...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olmecs
If you have a look at the gallery at the bottom of the page you will
see they were a diverse race.
A mixture of African, Native American, Polynesian, and Asian.
According to Zacharia Sitchin, the Sumerian tablets, refer to a race
of people who the Anunaki created by genetic engineering to mine gold
for them.
Well I don't think they genetically engineered them, but I do think
they were sort of a subservient race to a larger older people.
People who built giant structures in South America and made concrete
and lived there maybe as much as 1.3 million years ago.
The Olmecs probably dug the tunnels and did much of the stone work
with the finer detail, the really tight fitting joints, and the Incas
took credit for a lot of their work.
You will probably find that the Incas, are mostly descended from the
Mayans, and the Olmecs are the progenitor race, but North American
Native Indians, are much more like the Incas and Mayans, that the
Olmecs who were more like little builders and little tunnel diggers,
industrious people, whereas the Inca and Maya were less industrious.
Mexicans are descendants of the Olmecs as well but they interbred with
the Spanish and they are a mixed race as well.
These look like Olmecs.http://members.toast.net/rjspina/images/SumerianGiantKing.jpg
And I think that the Sumerian tablets regarding the Anunaki, refer to
the relationship between the most ancient race in South America, the
Anunaki, and the Olmecs.
Where the Anunaki come from, well they say they came from the stars,
and there are even depictions of them coming through star gates, and
all sorts of things.

Notice the winged symbol of Horus?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Egypte_louvre_091_aigle.jpg
So why is the Egyptian race such a highly developed race, well perhaps
the priestly class and some of the Pharohs were these people the
Anunaki, because they didn't die out. They are in you and I as they
interbred just as most races interbreed.
The only thing is that for a long time people did not seem to travel
much. The climate was probably not conducive to travel with ice ages
over the last million years.
Two types of people, the Australian Aborigines and the people of
India, are rather distinct races, which is odd living so close to
Asia, that they did not mix with them much.
And that is possibly because they were on Sri Lanka, for thousands of
years and developed separately from other races. They probably had no
need to go anywhere else, and lived quiet peaceful lives.
And the same with aborigines. Isolated and distinct.
Arabs, look like they are similar to the people of India.
Te caucasians are a mixed race, of people, depending on how far back
you go, whether you go all the way back to the Anunaki, which is who
they were.
And the legends of South America say that the most ancient people were
white. And they did travel far and wide.
And they were giants compared to the shorter Olmecs.
They may have interbred a bit with the Olmecs, and with Africans, but
they didn't travel much during the really bad climate times, when
there were a lot of ice ages.
So where did they come from?
Well I don't believe they came from apes.
I think that anyone who thinks that, is a dunderhead.
Apes are apes. And they are still apes.
And frogs are frogs and people are people.
I think that they came from some other world. There is no reason to
think that they developed here from monkeys.
There is no proof of any kind, that this the case. UYou might as well
argue for spontaneous creation as there is as much proof of that as
there is of man coming from apes, or aquatic apes.
Which is another dunderheaded theory because the apes we have seen
take to water, have grown more fur.
We do not have fur, we have hair.
If you think we are not smarter than apes, then why are you using a
computer building rocket ships, understanding the genetic code, and
flying into space.
Why are you writing, and reading, and using calculus, if you think you
are just the product of some random molecules without intelligent
design.
DNA has billions of bits of information and there is no proof
whatsoever that it came from earth.
So we came from elsewhere or we came from the future.
Both are equally possible.
Maybe we came from inside the moon.
Did man mate with moneys?
They mated with sheep and they mated with dogs and they mated with
monkeys.
Face facts.
Are you trying to do damage control or something?
Of course that is where black people come from.
An earlier people, the Anunaki, those who from heaven to earth came,
mated with apes.
At least a few did.
So?
Is that so distastefull you have to make up a whole stretch of lies so
big that you have forgotten what logic and science and truth is?
All just normal looking people. Really not knuckle draggers at all.

I'm not saying there weren't knuckle draggers, there are some on every
block today as well.
The scope of this rock art is mind boggling. 4 miles long.

They weren't Olmecs.

They seem to be on the same theme.
The woman's head is about 60 meters long, and the Old Man with the ray
gun is 4 miles long.
These are from where the Ica stones of Peru are found. That general
area. And the Nazca lines.
