So here is the weird part and I know my scientist friends will
appreciate this. Sue comes into her own, when it is something to do
with official family matters or affairs of state, then she is almost
created to be there in that position.
Adriana would not feel comfortable in that position.
She would feel out of place.
She could do it, but she wouldn't enjoy it. And so thats the
difference, where a person really just wants a place in a family where
they feel comfortable by nature.
Even though on earth, Adriana would be the alpha female in our family,
back home, Sue would be the alpha female in our family.
But if on earth, I had any other alpha female above Adriana, then that
wouldn't work. Back home it works, because everyone is like in a
structured part of society and their place is where they are
comfortable and you fit into your place by your comfort level and your
ability to fill that place, is what makes you comfortable being there.
It comes natural to you.
Sue knows my dads side of the family and is of the same basic make-up.
Same societal upbringing and all that.
So there is that whole huge societal pressure that would be on
Adriana, that isn't on Sue. It just comes natural to Sue.
And things that come natural to you, are easy to do.
I don't know why on earth, everyone struggles to get somewhere, but it
is almost always some sort of fame or fortune rather than just trying
to find their place of comfort.
Anyways we are really happy together the bunch of us, and I wish
everyone could be as happy in their own families and friendships as we
are with each other. Thats what it is all about. Thats where you will
find happiness.
So is Adriana a member of the galactic society and Sue a member of the
universal society?
I suppose thats true, but if it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't be
here.
Avril is here from back home and we knew each other there and we still
hang out together here, but just not in person.
And she is as comfortable here as she was there and a spoiled princess
in both places.
And Devon would be comfortable in bot places as well.
I think Adriana would, but it would take a bit of getting used to
because here she is a queen, and back home she would be a princess.
But being a princess is fun, so she even acts the princess here a lot
of the time. But shes not fooling anyone because if they piss her off,
its off with their head! lol Figureatively speaking of course.
And if Sue was here and I am led to believe she does come down on
occasion then she would be just a scientist.
But then thats ok too, if you have great friends like we do.
And just for the record, Sue's mother is amazing. The perfect
grandmother and the perfect babysitter.
We get along really well. I love her dearly, and she is you know,
amazing, I don't know what else to say. There is nothing pretentious
about the woman, she is just happy with who she is, happy to be Sue's
mom, and loves being a grandmother.
Our daughter is a real handful.
But you know the movie Groundhog Day, the lady at the inn, when Bill
Murray asks her about the hot water and she says, "oh heavens no,
there wouldn't be any hot water today, today is Thursday"
She is sort of like that. But not absent minded or anything like that
she is still a scientist. So my little joke there would not be taken
seriously, it would be just a Freudian slip or a typo. She has a sense
of humor and since we all know each other so well, we never seem to
misconstrue the true meaning of what we might say. Which allows us to
share a sense of humor that is a little more well maybe intellectual
is the word I am looking for.
It was a typo actually but I started laughing so hard at it that I
thought I would share it with them.
And I was going to leave it as a Freudian slip, but other people, may
get the wrong impression about me or her, and so I said I was just
kidding so they wouldn't get the wrong impression. And if we lose her
as a baby sitter we're toast.
