There are 400 square miles of that, right there in that area. And it
does not follow the contour of the land, it is simple decoration.
It boggles the mind.

I guess it is crop terracing.

Well, maybe it isn't crop terracing.
The nice thing about this resource here is that people post their
images from when they travel there, so you get a look at ground level.
If you click above the bottom right image where it says see this area
it gives you the full map. The weird Nazca like contour lines.
